Grammy-winning vocalist David Blamires is often referred to as “the singer’s singer”, due to his 3 & 1/2 octave vocal range and extraordinary capability of dynamic expression and emotion. David’s natural ability to sing and express himself in traditional and non-traditional ways (for example, as an instrument) has been delighting and astonishing fans all over the world for many decades. David was born in Yorkshire, England but grew up in Ontario, Canada. David got his start in music as a versatile recording session vocalist in Toronto, singing on thousands of jingles, album recordings, and soundtracks. Then, as a member of the (U.S.-based) Pat Metheny Group from 1986-1997, he appeared on four Grammy Award-winning albums and performed for multitudes of fans all over the world.
