The Jazz Collective brings the soulful sound of hard bop to life at Toboggan Brewing Company as part of the London Jazz Festival on Sunday April 26, celebrating the music of Horace Silver, Art Blakey, and the Jazz Messengers. From blues shuffles and Latin grooves to hard-swinging burners and lyrical ballads, the band channels the earthy, melodic spirit that defined jazz in the 1950s and 1960s. Featuring Chris Alcantara (trumpet), Andrew Racknor (alto sax), Don DiCarlo (piano), Mitch Tyler (bass), and Jeff Floyd (drums).
